Rustic Sculpture PDF Print E-mail

Rustic Sculpture is defined here, as the act of turning logs into beautiful things, I offer to show you how to

turn these

'green wood' logs, freshley cut

in to these

'Floppy' a much loved Early Years reading character

Download my simple guide for further details.

Involvement in a Rustic Sculpture workshop will offer your children

  • the opportunity to make use of a wide range of traditional woodworking tools and techniques
  • a chance to exercise their creativity either individually or collaboratively in small groups
  • a meaningful way to visit topics related to environmental care

In doing so they will have satisfied a whole raft of New Zealand Curriculum demands.

Most of all, it's a whole heap of fun!

This is a hands-on approach, where you and your children will have created a tangible product at the end of the day. Experiential learning at its very best!

This work is suitable for all ages and all ability levels.

These workshops also appeal to a range of commercial and corporate groups looking for new and innovative team building exercises that can also be incorporated into professional development courses.

I would welcome the opportunity to run a workshop for you.

Contact me to discuss discrete (one-off) morning or afternoon sessions or consider means for scheduling a longer-term commitment in your group or school.
