Children at Bucklands Beach Kindergarten saw something more in a bunch of logs that had been donated to the kindy. They saw life. The wood had spoken to them and all they needed was a little support to realize their idea. And so Murtle was born.

 

Axe, bow-saw, auger and chisel were used with the utmost care to craft a seat that now sits amongst the flower beds of the kindy. The most perfect place to sit and chat with your friend on a summers day.

This is another great example of Rustic Sculpture.
