The Headteacher at Cascades Kindergarten charged us with creating a set of interchangeable facades that would encourage imaginative play. The idea was to cut a series of simple, 2-dimensional shapes from plywood sheets, which would be attached to the playground platform thus turning it into a ship or castle, car or marea.

The children rose to the challenge once again sketching simple shapes that were used as outlines. A little sawing here and little nailing there and they were soon finished.
