…are not just about how to make things grow!

Staff and children at Somerville Kindergarten saw the opportunity to explore all the practical challenges that need to be solved when you want to plant seeds. Their solution has creatively contributed to the development of their playground and has produced the means for the rapid growth of a wide range of fruits and vegetables.

With all those angles it wasn’t an easy project and demanded that the children take time to carefully measure and mark out their work. The process however was another opportunity for collaborative work between children and a joy for me to be a part of.
