Children at Highland Park Kindergarten were determined to make their own bike. Staff were excited that this would be a rustic sculpture. The challenge then was how to find the right shapes in a random selection of logs…and then the magic happened. Somehow staff managed to source the most perfect bits of wood to be creative with. It remained then, only for the children, to eagerly put augers and draw knives, bits and braces, bowsaws and axes to good use. The result is something Barney Rubble would have been proud of.
