Children of the Glen Innes Kindergarten enjoy a special relationship with the Tamaki river. It is home to the taniwha and guardian of the Tainui people, known as Moko ika hikuwaru. The kindergarten was in real need of a new post box and were keen to realise a functional form of their kaitiaki.

The result has to be the best post box anyone has ever seen.
